Sheila ('THE girl') - vocals and flute

Sheila originates from Waynesville, North Carolina and moved, as a child, to West Virginia before winding up in the UK and
marrying her husband, Jeremy.

Her main instrument is her voice but she also plays the flute - not an instrument usually associated with the blues, but one the band are keen to use. Her p
revious bands are too numerous to mention, with her biggest gig to about 600 people.

Her favourite bands include James Brown, Smokey Robinson and loads more

Favourite singers are Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Sam Cooke, Al Green

Favourite soul tracks include River Deep, Never Loved a Man, I’ve been Loving You too Long, Wanna Take you higher, Mother Mother…I would rather go blind, ..........Gee, I could go on forever.

Her soul heroine: Tina Turner ... she is a survivor.
And her stated ambition: Just to enjoy myself.
