Paul D ('limelight') - guitar and vocals

Paul has been around guitars since the age of 7. He has been involved in all the various fashions in popular music in the intervening 46 years, having played in Glam-Rock outfits, metal monsters, punk radicals and cheesy covers bands. He has only now found his niche in Urban Blues.

His playing is more expressive than techno-flash and his trusty Gibson SG has been his loyal side-kick for over 30 years, yielding a warm, soulful tone faithfully delivered by his classic Marshall amp.

His influences are (in no particular order) Peter Green, Paul Kossoff, Wes Montgomery, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, BB King, Joe Pass, Otis Rush, Buddy Guy, Hiram Bullock, Joe Satriani, Jimmy Page, Roy Buchannan, Stevie-Ray Vaughan, Jerry Donohue....almost everyone who has ever picked up a guitar and made a statement. More than all of these, and the one guitarist he most admires, is the incomparable Larry Carlton.

Any resemblance between Paul and Larry is purely coincidental, but it's interesting to note they have never been seen together....makes you think, doesn't it?.
