Jonathan ('Jonny H') - guitar and vocals

Jonathan bought his first guitar from the proceeds of a summer job picking hops for Guinness which to anyone who knows him will come as no surprise. During the first Summer of Love, he formed Rasputin and the Garbage who lived up to their name throughout their short existence. Various music projects followed including a stint as manager of Prism who appeared on New Faces and were beaten into last place by the bloke who went on to be the teddy boy in Hi Di Hi. For many years he has run Buffalo Lounge studios as a peripatetic recording facility for his many musical acquaintances. He has often been seen playing at gigs whether he has been invited to or not. He is proud to be associated with the talented musicians that comprise Urban Blues.

His alter ego Vernon Grope chronicles the trials and tribulations of a stellar rock musician at

In no particular order: Peter Green, Frank Zappa, Bert Weedon/Hank Marvin, Rory Gallagher, BB King, Jeff Baxter, George Harrison, Paul Kossoff and anybody who can play the blues with soul and feeling.

(editors note: how many band web sites contain the word peripatetic?....You gotta love that, aint'cha!)
